Olympic Champions and families enjoy Yoli Alkalete

From Olympic Athletes to Amateur Marathoners:Real People with Real Results

I have discovered an all natural safe solution to rid the body of acid. Alkalete is the powerful. I believe so much in the alkalizing power of this product that not only do I consume it every single day, but I am actively promoting it to the world." Carl Lewis, 9 Time Gold Medalist & "Athlete of the 20th Century"
Alkalete has truly changed my life in regards to athletic performance and recovery. I started running two years ago and I was very sore. This was before Yoli. I now have a full marathon and three half marathons behind me. While using Alkalete, I have found my times to continue to decrease and my recovery to consistently be quick and with little to no soreness. This is very different than my seasoned running buddies. A few running friends have decided to use Alkalete and now they too are enjoying more energy, better performance and a quick recovery. " Heidi C – Stafford, Virginia
I used to be a jittery, stressed out, worn out, wreck! I learned that stress is one of the biggest causes of acid in the system. No wonder people under a lot of stress seem to have more health challenges. I started using the Alkalete on a daily basis and I noticed I was feeling calmer, more focused, and I just felt more balanced than I had in a long time. I don't know what came first, the acid or the stress, but when I started taking Alkalete to reduce the acid in my system my stress went way down too." Kurt L – Seattle, Washington

Yoli Better Body System

What is The Secret Behind Weight Loss?

Yoli Australia now has the Yoli Better Body System

To lose weight in a proper healthy manner, we need to consume energy from fat.
Our body burns calories for energy; these calories are from the
macro-nutrients we include in our diet, fats, carbohydrates and proteins.
Carbohydrates are our immediate source of energy; they break down into sugar,
and the excess is stored as fat. We have a limited source for Proteins and that
should be the last source of energy we consume, it is vital for lean muscle mass and
hormone production. Fat is the most concentrated source of energy.
We basically store it more than we use it, and that’s where the problem lays.

So how do we get the body to use Fat as its primary energy source?
Use The Yoli Better Body System and turn your body into a fat burning machine!

Sponsorship money from the drug industry

Drug Industry is Infiltrating Supposedly "Independent" Media Outlets

The Australian newspaper has reportedly accepted an
undisclosed amount of sponsorship money from the drug industry
for a series of health policy articles.

The drug industry spends nearly twice as much on promotion
as it does on research and development, and part of this
promotion includes hefty advertising dollars that allow the
industry to dictate editorial policy.

The drug industry also uses their marketing and
lobbying dollars to influence medical science,
published journal articles, and government policy.

Drug companies are the BIGGEST political lobby,
and political lobbying is one of the primary reasons why the
drug companies are controlling nearly every
facet of the health industry.

As journalist Ray Moynihan recently reported in the British Medical Journal:

"Just as many doctors contemplate an end to their dance with drug company marketers, a fresh new crew is stepping lively onto the floor: journalists and media organizations looking for easy ways to fund their reporting, travel, and education.

The BMJ reported … that the Murdoch empire's flagship newspaper in
Australia has accepted an undisclosed amount of sponsorship money from
the drug industry for a series of articles on health policy—and that the
idea arose from a meeting between advertising agents.

Defending the deal, the Australian's editor said that independence and integrity were maintained; but as others pointed out, this new form of financial closeness between journalists and the companies they scrutinise raises real concerns."

This is really not surprising considering that that media mogul Rupert Murdoch's son, James Murdoch, is a member of drug giant GlaxoSmithKline's (GSK) corporate responsibility committee (a position he entered in May 2009). His job? To review "external issues that might have the potential for serious impact upon the group's business and reputation" -- a position he's well suited for …
James Murdoch, as you may know, is the chairman and chief executive of News Corporation Europe and Asia, and chairman of BSkyB.
I can only imagine the extent to which drug makers can benefit from having a media mogul on their payroll, as well as "sponsoring" media content on health policy. Clearly they've thought this one through, and it makes perfect sense when you consider the clout they need to keep the media quiet

Aspartame- NutraSweet, Equal, Spoonful & Equal Measure

Aspartame - be aware.

Aspartame is the technical name for the brand names
NutraSweet, Equal, Spoonful, and Equal-Measure.

Aspartame was approved for dry goods in 1981 and for
carbonated beverages in 1983.

Aspartame accounts for over 75 percent of the
adverse reactions to food additives reported to the FDA.
Many of these reactions are very serious.
A few of the 90 different documented symptoms
listed in the report as being caused by aspartame include:
Headaches/migraines, dizziness, seizures, nausea, numbness,
muscle spasms, weight gain, rashes, depression, fatigue,
irritability, insomnia, vision problems, hearing loss,
heart palpitations, breathing difficulties, anxiety attacks,
slurred speech, loss of taste, tinnitus, vertigo,
memory loss, and joint pain.

According to researchers and physicians studying the
adverse effects of aspartame, the following chronic illnesses
can be triggered or worsened by ingesting of aspartame:
Brain tumors, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, chronic fatigue syndrome,
parkinson's disease, alzheimer's, mental retardation, lymphoma,
birth defects, fibromyalgia, and diabetes.

Aspartame is made up of three chemicals: aspartic acid, phenylalanine,
and methanol. The book "Prescription for Nutritional Healing,"
by James and Phyllis Balch, lists aspartame under the
category of "chemical poison."

Which Energy Drinks and Fruit Juice is Better?

Is Yoli Energy Drinks and Fruit Juice Better?

Why does Yoli add the highest quality dry ingredients to water.
The benefit of this as you may already realize, beverages which are
pre mixed must, for health and safety purposes go through
pasteurization before they can be sold and consumed by the public.
The process of pasteurization heats up the product to a temperature level
which will sufficiently destroy any bacteria or pathogens. The unfortunate side of pasteurization is that many good nutrients are also destroyed in the process.

With Yoli the ingredients have not been pasteurized but freeze dried, a
process that preserves vitamins instead of destroying them by heating them up.
Also, consider beverages can sit in storage and on shelves for weeks or
months losing even more nutritional value before being consumed, .
With the Yoli delivery system makes it possible to enjoy your beverage fresh, while it’s still at its peak and full of vital nutrients. The ingredients are kept separate from the water until you are ready to enjoy.

Yoli Inc., states they use the freshest ingredients available.
According to the label, the drink is packed with all the ingredients we’re hearing so much about lately; It has 100% vitamin C & Zinc and between 25% – 50% of over 17 other vitamins and minerals. It contains other ingredients like Goji, pomegranate and Acai. They have an ingredient called Alkalete which is a ph enhancer and no artificial sweeteners. Instead they use Stevia Reb-A which is a natural plant based sweetener. It even contains Resveratrol. The ingredient in wine stated to have so many positive anti-aging effects.

Osteoporosis and Acid/Alkaline diet

Osteoporosis and Alkalete

Yoli Alkalete helps with ph balance

Osteoporosis means porous bones, where bone density is reduced
leading to a higher risk of fracture, which can, in severe cases, have fatal consequences.
According to the National Osteoporosis Society, one in two women and
one in five men over the age of 50 in the UK will fracture a bone,
mainly due to poor bone health. But you can prevent and/or treat it,
says nutritionist Dr Marilyn Glenville, which I recommend highly.
Up to 85 per cent of bone development may be genetically determined,
but bone density can also be affected by lack of the right nutrients.
Continuous dieting, anorexia or gut problems (eg, irritable bowel syndrome)
may put you at risk. Other risk factors include taking too little exercise,
smoking and some medications (eg, steroids or antacids).

Exercise can help. Combine weight-bearing activities (eg, walking, dancing,
tennis, etc) with weight-resistance activities
(swimming, riding, weight training). Yoga achieves both.
Vitamins and minerals are vital for bone health. Calcium (as citrate not carbonate) improves bone density and reduces the risk of fractures. Magnesium helps metabolise calcium and, with boron, converts vitamin D3 to the form that ensures calcium is efficiently absorbed.
Aim for a more alkaline diet. Calcium stored in your bones is leached to
neutralise acid. So the more acidic your diet is, the higher the risk of fracture.
Eating a lot of animal protein – the most acid-forming foods – is linked to
lower bone density. So cut down on meat and cheese (milk and yoghurt are more alkaline) and eat plenty of vegetables,
fruit, whole (unrefined) grains, legumes, nuts and seeds.

Radiation and Glutathione

Radiation exposure and glutathione

Exposure to nuclear radiation from a nuclear fallout due to a
nuclear plant meltdown could be deadly.
For those that don't die, the long-term effects of nuclear radiation
exposure often leads to cancer, especially thyroid cancer!
(this is why you MUST detox from radiation exposure)
Radiation exposure creates an abundance of free radicals
that create many problems for the body. This overabundance
of free radicals also leads to greatly depleted glutathione levels!

Even a little exposure to nuclear radiation can lead to lowered
immune system, and an abundance of free radicals,
including the most dangerous free radical of all: the hydroxyl radical.

The first symptoms of radiation poisoning can include nausea, vomiting,
diarrhoea and rashes. They can appear within MINUTES or
days of exposure. The symptoms could then lead to fatigue,
hair loss, appetite loss, fever, and gastrointestinal problems
which can last for hours, days, and months!
If the nuclear radiation IS NOT detoxified from the body it may
lead to cancer or shorter lifespan!

To protect yourself from a nuclear radiation you must get as
much distance from you and the nuclear fallout as possible.
If evacuation is not possible, you must remain indoors and
seal all windows and keep your AC off.
Limit your time outdoors to zero if possible.

Increase your glutathione IMMEDIATELY!

Glutathione protects your body by immediately going to work
neutralizing free radicals created during unhealthy radiation exposure.
In fact, glutathione is the ONLY antioxidant that can neutralize the
hydroxyl radical created in human body from too much
radiation exposure!
The hydroxyl radical also know as the Hydroxyradical
is the most dangerous free radical of all.
It can damage virtually all types of our macromolecules, including:
carbohydrates, nucleic acids (causing mutations), lipids
(causing lipid peroxidation) and amino acids.

Glutathione, the master and most powerful antioxidant,
is the ONLY antioxidant that can neutralize the hydroxyradical!
Glutathione also rapidly detoxifies the body from
radiation exposure by rebuilding your DNA and
repairing cells damaged from radiation exposure.
Glutathione also works with the immune system and
removes heavy metals, like radioactive iodine 131
(the most common radioactive element given off in nuclear disasters.)
By keeping your glutathione (master antioxidant) levels high
you protect your DNA and your cells from damage!
The most effective glutathione accelerating supplement is MaxGXL!
Another important way to protect yourself from radiation exposure
is through iodine supplementation!
Radioactive iodine is present during nuclear meltdowns, if you are
deficient in iodine your body will absorb the radioactive iodine.
(glutathione will also greatly help you to detoxify the radioactive iodine).

We live with radiation from microwaves from mobile phones,
cell phone towers, microwave ovens and X-rays.
They too create free radicals in our body.

Food vs. Supplements

Food vs. Supplements

Consumers around the world are more likely to address some
health conditions via foods, while preferring dietary
supplements for others, finds a new survey.

According to global research by Ipsos Marketing, food and beverages rival
supplements when it comes to digestion, energy, weight and blood sugar levels.
However, dietary supplements were by far the most popular option for
benefits linked to immunity, brain health and memory, bone and joint health,
cancer prevention, hormonal balance and eye health.

Established health links
The key differentiation, according to Ipsos, comes down to consumer
awareness of well-established health links, which is what prompts
them to go for foods or supplements.
The survey, which tracked responses from 21,623 adults in 23 countries,
also identified a mid-way category of health conditions, which people are
more likely to address with supplements.

Supplements
These are used for heart health, cancer prevention and immunity benefits,
increased brain power and memory, and bone and joint health which
most people would first turn to supplements for.

A wide range of countries participated in the survey: Argentina,
Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany,
Hungary, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Poland, Russia, South Korea,
Spain, Sweden, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Great Britain,
the United States and Turkey.

Consumer interest in health and wellness on the rise.

Consumers are continuing to increase spending on
products for health and wellness –

According to the report, Reimagining Health 2010 which
carried out an online survey to find out about US consumers’
attitudes toward health and wellness and triggers for
changing behaviours. It found that the average household
spends $148.48 a month – or 19 percent of all monthly spending –
on fortified foods, those that are lower in cholesterol,
saturated fat, trans fat, and salt and supplements.

The report found
“Aging and changing health are key triggers for older cohorts,
while energy and stress trigger awareness for younger cohorts,”

And the organization said that the first ‘significant’
realization of a need to participate in health and wellness
occurs between the ages of 40 and 50 with changes in appearance,
the onset of minor health complaints, having less energy, or weight gain.

“They are looking for products and services that help them
meet their wellness goals and aspirations. With virtually all consumers
involved in wellness on some level, this represents tremendous
opportunities for manufacturers and retailers.”

Sport Nutrition

Non-sporty consumers drive
Sports nutrition market.

As global sales of sports nutrition products maintain
healthy growth rates, one distinct – and unexpected –
group of consumers is emerging as the main driver for the market,
made up of people who are not necessarily interested in sports.

Sports nutrition consumers can be split into four main groups:
body builders, athletes, recreational users (who pursue sport as a hobby)
and an emerging group of lifestyle users.

Lifestyle users, are not necessarily very athletic, but are
choosing to consume sports nutritional products as an initial
building block in leading a healthier lifestyle.

People within this group mainly consume sports nutrition products
in order to provide a refreshing beverage, a quick meal
replacement or simply a healthy snack. Consumers within the group
may also use sports nutrition products to provide an
energy boost during illness, or even when feeling tired.

Most Beneficial

Study: Anti-aging Supplements Most Beneficial When Taken Earlier In Life
June 4, 2010 by Personal Liberty News Desk
Results of a new University of Florida College of Medicine
study suggest anti-aging supplements are most effective when
taken before the onset of old age.

Using an animal model, lead author Christiaan Leeuwenburgh
and his colleagues tested a mixture of anti-aging supplements
on a group of middle-aged and late-aged subjects. The supplements
contained antioxidant coenzyme Q10, creatine and ginseng.

After six weeks, the younger subjects—whose age corresponded to
50-year-old to 65-year-old humans—improved their grip strength
by 12 percent and their neurological function by 66 percent compared
to a cohort of control group participants.

In contrast, older subjects—whose age was comparable to 65-year-old
to 80-year-old men and women—experienced no statistically relevant
improvement in physical or cognitive function.
"It is possible that there is a window during which these compounds
will work, and if the intervention is given after that time it won’t work,"
said researcher Jinze Xu.
However, older subjects who were given the supplements did lower their
levels of oxidative stress and improve their energy levels.

Supplements for Everyone

Doctors and Vitamins
.
Clinical research is leading to increasingly wide acceptance of supplements among Doctors and other health professionals. Many now recommend supplements to their patients and clients.
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) recommends we eat 7 to 13 servings of fruits and vegetables every day. Most people don't come anywhere close
Nutritionists and doctors are beginning to discover that it doesn't matter how old you are, whether you're male or female, whether you have ailments or are as healthy as an ox…
More Doctors Take Vitamins than Get a Flu Vaccine:
72% of Physicians and 89% of Nurses take vitamins each year. 51% of physicians and 59% of nurses classify themselves as regular consumers of dietary supplements.
Building A Solid Nutritional Foundation Is Vital To Your Overall Health…
and today is the best time to start.

The Vitamin Business is Thriving

The Vitamin Business is Thriving

Since the onset of the recession, retail has been ice cold
out according to the Nutrition Business Journal, sales of
supplements rose at a 4.9 percent annual rate between
2001- 2008 and should rise 5.8 percent this year.

A $25 billion industry, VMS (vitamins, minerals, supplements)
have benefited from the recent economic cataclysm in a few ways.
First some Americans are focusing more on their health. As they kick
habits that are either bad or expensive (or both), they're smoking less,
buying less soda, and cutting back on calorie-laden treats at Starbucks
and the convenience store. Vitamins and supplements are a key
component of a healthier lifestyle.
VMS sales are also benefitting from one of the most powerful
commercial forces in the history of planet Earth: the baby boomers.
As they get older, the boomers—already a narcissistic bunch—are
growing ever-more obsessed with their health and wellness.
Just as they caused bubbles in marijuana in the 1960s and disco balls
in the 1970s, baby boomers are now causing sales of vitamins to spike.
"We believe that one of the primary trends driving the industry is
consumption by the over-50 demographic, including Baby Boomers …
who seek to improve their health and wellness and treat and
prevent disease and illness,"

Fresh is Best

The truth is that some of what we’re told about health and health
products doesn’t add up.

We are told that liquid nutritional supplements are good for us,
yet nutrients that are suspended in liquid, heat processed and
chemically preserved are nutritionally diminished.

Glutathione

MaxGXL is a hot new anti-aging supplement on the market.

MaxGXL has all the precursors for glutathione synthesis in the body,
so it in fact contains no actual glutathione itself.

Glutathione is a tri-peptide, meaning it is made up of three amino acids,
glycine, glutamine and cysteine. MaxGXL contains just two of these.
Glutamine, in the form L-Glutamine, and cysteine in the
form N-Acetyl Cysteine.
There is a good amount of the antioxidants Vitamin C and
Alpha Lipoic acid to enable the full absorption of the amino acids
and synthesis of glutathione.
Finally there is the secret absorption and recycling ingredients
which includes milk thistle and cordyceps, a powerful anti-inflammatory.
These are well known liver enhancing ingredients.

Working together these ingredients have a noticeable beneficial
effect on the body as demonstrated by the clinical trial results and
testimonials for the product.
